What determines the price of ECU tuning?
At Dynoforce you pay one amount for the whole Stage 1 process: reading out the car, the tune itself, testing on the road and an explanation. The difference is your gearbox. With a manual gearbox Stage 1 starts at €349, with an automatic at €549. The brand makes no difference to the price: the same starting price applies to every car in our database. We program the engine ECU with every Stage 1. On a car with an automatic gearbox we also program the TCU, the gearbox control unit. That extra work explains the difference in price. We confirm the price for your car before we start.

Comparing tuning prices
A tune that arrives by post or is flashed remotely is sometimes cheaper, but then nobody looks under the bonnet and nobody tests the result on the road. With us your car is in the workshop in Elburg and you talk to the mechanic who does the work. That is included in the price.
Payment and appointment
You book an appointment at our workshop in Elburg. Your car is usually with us for half a day and you drive home the same day. You pay at the workshop, or in advance online via Stage 1 in the shop.

Are there any extra costs?
No. The read-out, the road test and the explanation are included in the price, and we charge no call-out fee. If you want something extra, we discuss it beforehand, so you are never in for surprises.

How long does it take and do I need to bring my car?
Yes, we always tune your car at our workshop in Elburg, never remotely. It usually takes half a day, including the read-out, tuning and testing. You can wait at the shop or we arrange transport.
My car is not in the database, what then?
Give us a call or send a WhatsApp message. We can often tune the car anyway, the figures just aren't listed yet. You then get the price and what to expect beforehand.
Can the tune be reverted to original?
Yes. We keep your car's original software and can always restore it, for example when you sell the car or for a warranty visit at the dealer.
