In the latter case, we simply do the unlock in-house and you won't need this listing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNote: what matters is the production date, not the date on your registration document. A car that rolled off the line in May 2020 may not have been registered until months later.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eThese lists are a snapshot\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNew control units that we can unlock ourselves are added regularly, and BMW has switched engine computers partway through the same models and model years. So the model and model year alone don't always tell you whether your car needs to be sent out, and these lists can lag behind what's currently possible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou'll only know for sure once we read out your car at our shop. Then we see exactly which control unit is in there. If it turns out we can do it in-house after all, you're a lot cheaper and faster off with the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/dynoforce.shop\/products\/dme-bench-unlock-voor-bootmod3\"\u003ebench unlock\u003c\/a\u003e, and we'll make up the difference.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWhat we do\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe carefully remove the DME from your car and ship it out to be unlocked. The pins are small and closely spaced, so removal takes a steady hand.
