Fixed roof antenna for the Target Blu Eye 2, especially suited to commercial vehicles. On a taller vehicle, an antenna on the roof doesn't get in the way.
The antenna is mounted on the roof. To do so, you drill a small hole in the roof: this is where the cable goes inside, and it also provides the ground point for the antenna. A rubber sealing ring seals the feed-through.
An antenna on the roof gives the Blu Eye 2 a range of up to about 2 km, around 1.5 times better than the bumper antenna that comes as standard in the box. The roof antenna has the same connector as that bumper antenna, the VCD dipole antenna.
